Preparing for Shavuot with warmth, unity, and connection

Shabbat 250 • In honor of Jewish American Heritage Month

Before the giving of the Torah at Har Sinai, the Jewish people stood united as one.

This coming Shabbat, May 15-16, the Shabbat before Shavuot, is a special time to strengthen our love for others and share the beauty of Shabbat with others.

The Rebbe encouraged that on this Shabbat we make an extra effort to bring unity, warmth, and connection to our community.

    Share a Shabbat Hug

Locally, we are preparing beautiful Shabbat Hug boxes, thoughtfully packed with everything needed to turn Friday night into Shabbat.

    Each box includes

    ✦ Shabbat guide
    ✦ Candles
    ✦ Kiddush cup
    ✦ Grape juice
    ✦ Challot
    ✦ Challah cover

A Shabbat Hug is perfect for

A senior who cannot make Shabbat on their own
A family who does not yet celebrate Shabbat
Someone who would appreciate a warm Shabbat connection
